Thrilled to announce that, along with two colleagues, Donghee Yvette Wohn of NJIT and Libby Hemphill of UMich iSchool, we have won a $1.5 million grant to research and study decision-making and worker support of content moderation of social media. This is my first NSF win, so I am excited to partner with experienced researchers on this collaborative, multi-modal and multi-year study. It’s particularly exciting to be part of an all-woman research team.

You can read more about the award from the UCLA Ampersand story that covered it. The grant has been awarded via the NSF’s Future of Work initiative.
